1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store your password in plain text.

Monitor data

URLs and names of the endpoints you ask us to monitor, along with check results (HTTP status codes, response times, timestamps).

Billing information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status — we never see or store your card details.

Usage data

Standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, retained for up to 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To run uptime checks on the monitors you configure
• To send downtime and recovery alert emails
• To manage your subscription and process billing via Stripe
• To provide AI-generated incident analysis (Pro and Business plans)
• To improve the reliability and performance of the service
• To respond to support requests
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the third-party services necessary to operate Uptraq:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting
• Cloudflare — global monitoring infrastructure and AI inference
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — application hosting

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Uptraq, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

Monitor check history is retained for 90 days. Incident records are retained for 1 year. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. You may request deletion at any time by contacting support@uptraq.io.

5. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Database access is restricted by row-level security policies. No system is completely secure; we encourage strong, unique passwords.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@uptraq.io. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of Uptraq after changes constitutes acceptance.
